What family focused solutions work to ensure that children and their parents have the support needed to meet their basic needs for housing security and quality of life?
Background
What happens in the home is a key driver of school experiences and attainment, and influences choices and outcomes. Keeping children safe from emotional and physical harm, tackling child poverty and supporting families will relieve pressure across the system and enable them to learn and thrive. This also contributes to the Safe Streets mission. (For brevity, please read all references to children as encompassing both children and young people where appropriate).
